Description

A quick and easy air fryer apricot danish made with puff pastry and apricot preserves.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Cut the pastry into 4 equal rectangles.
  3. Spoon 1 tbsp apricot preserves onto the center of each rectangle.
  4. Fold the edges over the filling, pressing lightly to seal.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Place the danishes in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar (optional).

Notes

  • You can substitute apricot preserves with any fruit jam.
