Description
Crispy and tender asparagus cooked quickly in an air fryer for a healthy side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 lb)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim tough ends from asparagus.
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Thicker asparagus may need 1-2 extra minutes.
- For extra crispiness, cook 1 minute longer.
- Sprinkle with parmesan after cooking if desired.
