A quick and easy basque cheesecake recipe using cake mix, made in an air fryer for a creamy and caramelized finish.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Pour batter into a greased 6-inch cake pan.
- Place pan in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes until the top is dark brown.
- Let cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Use a hand mixer for smoother batter.
- Check doneness with a toothpick—it should come out mostly clean.
- Chill for best texture before serving.
