Description
Make delicious Bavarian cream donuts using your air fryer. These donuts are crispy on the outside and filled with creamy custard.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Bavarian cream filling
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
- Roll dough into small balls and flatten slightly.
- Place donuts in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Let cool, then fill with Bavarian cream using a piping bag.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Use a skewer to make a hole for filling if needed.
