Description
A delicious and easy-to-make galette with a berry filling and frangipane base, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy crust.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry into a circle.
- Mix almond flour, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract to make the frangipane.
- Spread the frangipane over the pastry, leaving a border.
- Add berries on top of the frangipane.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling.
- Brush the edges with beaten egg.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use any berries you prefer.
- If using frozen berries, thaw and drain excess liquid first.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
