Description

A delicious and easy-to-make galette with a berry filling and frangipane base, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry into a circle.
  3. Mix almond flour, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract to make the frangipane.
  4. Spread the frangipane over the pastry, leaving a border.
  5. Add berries on top of the frangipane.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling.
  7. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  8. Air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Use any berries you prefer.
  • If using frozen berries, thaw and drain excess liquid first.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
