Description
Delicious and easy air fryer scones with blueberries and cardamom.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cardamom.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- In another bowl, whisk cream, egg, and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.
- Shape dough into a circle, cut into 8 wedges.
- Place scones in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Do not overmix the dough to keep scones tender.
- Use frozen blueberries if fresh are unavailable.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
