Description
A quick and easy dessert made with fresh blueberries and puff pastry, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix blueberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or rectangles.
- Spoon blueberry mixture onto half of each pastry piece.
- Fold pastry over and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with turbinado sugar if desired.
- Place in air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use frozen blueberries if fresh aren’t available.
- Adjust sugar based on sweetness of berries.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
