Description
Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, these air fryer chocolate chip cookies get a rich flavor boost from brown butter.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, browned and cooled
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Brown butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then let cool for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together browned butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop 2-tbsp portions of dough and place in air fryer basket, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Air fry at 325°F for 6-8 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For crispier cookies, air fry an extra 1-2 minutes.
- Dough can be refrigerated for up to 3 days before baking.
- Use a light spritz of cooking spray if your air fryer tends to stick.
