Description
A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring baked Camembert with cranberry sauce, prepared in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and gooey center.
Ingredients
- 1 round of Camembert (about 250g)
- 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
- Crackers or bread for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Remove the Camembert from its packaging and place it back in the wooden box or on a small oven-safe dish.
- Score the top of the Camembert in a crosshatch pattern.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the top.
- Drizzle honey over the cranberry sauce and sprinkle with thyme leaves and walnuts (if using).
- Place the Camembert in the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately with crackers or bread.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife for scoring the cheese to prevent it from breaking.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Let the Camembert sit for 1–2 minutes before serving to avoid burns.
