A quick and easy air fryer chicken schnitzel recipe that delivers crispy, golden results with less oil.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pound chicken to an even thickness.
- Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then press into breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray or brush chicken with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
