Description
A mini Christmas trifle made in an air fryer, perfect for holiday gatherings. Layers of cake, custard, and fruit create a festive dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sponge cake, cubed
- 1/2 cup custard
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1 tbsp sherry or fruit juice (optional)
- 1 tbsp grated chocolate for garnish
Instructions
- Layer the sponge cake cubes at the bottom of mini trifle dishes.
- Drizzle with sherry or fruit juice if using.
- Add a layer of custard over the cake.
- Top with mixed berries.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and grated chocolate.
- Place in the air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes to warm slightly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use store-bought sponge cake and custard for convenience.
- Adjust sweetness by adding sugar to the custard if needed.
- Chill before serving if you prefer a cold trifle.
