Description

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
- Oil spray (for air fryer)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour and vanilla extract until a dough forms.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 4-inch strips onto parchment paper.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Spray air fryer basket with oil and place churros inside, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Roll warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a sturdy piping bag to prevent bursts.
- Let churros cool slightly before coating.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
