Description
Crispy tofu cubes made in an air fryer, perfect as a snack or protein addition to meals.
Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water.
- Cut tofu into 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Toss tofu cubes in the mixture until coated.
- Drizzle with olive oil and mix again.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use extra-firm tofu for best results.
- For more flavor, marinate tofu for 30 minutes before coating.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
