Description
A quick and easy date nut bread made in the air fryer for a moist and delicious treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Soak chopped dates in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Mix flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Add egg, oil, and soaked dates (with water) to dry ingredients.
- Stir in chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Place pan in air fryer and cook for 35 minutes.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute walnuts with pecans or almonds.
