Description
A moist and spicy gingerbread loaf made easily in your air fryer. Perfect for holidays or any time you crave warm, spiced flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Grease a loaf pan that fits inside your air fryer.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix molasses, hot water, oil, brown sugar, and egg.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Place pan in the air fryer basket and cook for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Check for doneness early as air fryer times may vary.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Serve warm with butter or whipped cream.
