Description
A crispy and cheesy Italian-inspired grilled cheese panini made in an air fryer for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of Italian bread
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 2 slices of provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on the buttered sides.
- Place one slice of mozzarella and one slice of provolone on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
- Top with the second bread slice, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer, slice, and serve with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Use fresh bread for the best texture.

- Add sliced tomatoes or basil for extra flavor.
