Description

Air Fryer Kheer is a quick and easy version of the traditional Indian rice pudding, made creamy with milk, rice, and aromatic spices.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup basmati rice
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios)
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp ghee or butter


Instructions

  1. Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the rice and set it aside.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. In an oven-safe dish, combine the rice, milk, and ghee.
  5. Place the dish in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir the mixture, then cook for another 20 minutes.
  7. Add sugar, cardamom powder, nuts, and raisins. Mix well.
  8. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until the kheer thickens.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before serving.
