Description
Crispy and flavorful German spice cookies made easily in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, and spices in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk honey, brown sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Roll dough into small balls and flatten slightly.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place cookies in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes for easier handling.
- Adjust spices to taste.
