Description
Easy air fryer lemon poppyseed donuts with a light glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and poppy seeds in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pour batter into greased donut molds, filling halfway.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before removing from molds.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and lemon juice for glaze.
- Dip donuts in glaze and let set before serving.
Notes
- Use silicone donut molds for easy removal.
- Adjust glaze thickness with more milk or powdered sugar.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
