Description

Delicious and flavorful pork skewers marinated in lemongrass and cooked in an air fryer for a quick and easy meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g pork shoulder, cut into cubes
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and vegetable oil.
  2. Add pork cubes to the marinade and coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
  5. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the pork is golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with rice or a side salad.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the pork overnight.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the pork cubes.
  • If using metal skewers, no soaking is required.
