Description

A delicious and easy-to-make mango upside-down cake using an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe mango, sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. Grease a cake pan that fits in your air fryer.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and place mango slices at the bottom.
  6. Pour the batter over the mango slices.
  7. Air fry for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 5 minutes before flipping onto a plate.

Notes

  • Use a ripe mango for best flavor.
