Description
A delicious and easy-to-make mango upside-down cake using an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ripe mango, sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Grease a cake pan that fits in your air fryer.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and place mango slices at the bottom.
- Pour the batter over the mango slices.
- Air fry for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before flipping onto a plate.
Notes
- Use a ripe mango for best flavor.
- Check the cake at 20 minutes to avoid overcooking.
- Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
