Description
Easy air fryer mince pies made with simple ingredients and quick cooking time.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet ready-made shortcrust pastry
- 200g mincemeat
- 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of mincemeat in the center of each pastry circle.
- Brush the edges with beaten egg and fold over to seal.
- Place the pies in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use a fork to crimp the edges for a better seal.
- Check the pies halfway through cooking to prevent burning.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
