Description
A quick and easy air fryer panini sandwich recipe that delivers crispy bread and melted fillings.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or ciabatta recommended)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
- 2 slices of deli meat (turkey, ham, or chicken)
- 1 tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 tsp mustard or mayo (optional)
- 1 tbsp sliced vegetables (tomatoes, onions, or bell peppers, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Layer cheese, deli meat, and optional vegetables on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
- Top with the second bread slice, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
- Use thick bread for better texture.
