Description

A crispy, nutty dessert made with pistachios and phyllo dough, cooked in an air fryer for a lighter version of traditional baklava.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom
  • 10 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 320°F.
  2. Blend pistachios, sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom in a food processor.
  3. Brush phyllo sheets with melted butter, layering them in the air fryer basket.
  4. Sprinkle nut mixture between every two layers.
  5. Cut baklava into squares before cooking.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  7. Drizzle honey over warm baklava.
