Make delicious protein brownies at home using an air fryer. These brownies are rich, fudgy, and packed with protein for a healthier treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add honey, applesauce, almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan that fits in your air fryer.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use a toothpick to check if the brownies are done.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a vegan version, replace the egg with a flax egg.
