Make delicious protein donuts in your air fryer for Valentine’s Day. These donuts are healthy, easy to prepare, and perfect for a festive treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- Pink food coloring (optional)
- Sugar-free glaze or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add almond milk, egg, honey, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil. Stir until smooth.
- Add pink food coloring if desired.
- Pour the batter into a greased donut mold or shape into donuts.
- Place the donuts in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Let them cool before adding glaze or sprinkles.
Notes
- Use a piping bag for easier batter transfer.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
