Make quick and easy protein donuts using crescent rolls and your air fryer. These donuts are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried donuts.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Roll each triangle into a rope shape and twist two ropes together to form a donut.
- Place the donuts in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix protein powder, powdered sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Brush the warm donuts with melted butter and dip them in the protein mixture.
- Serve immediately.
