Description
A delicious and easy-to-make French toast stuffed with fresh raspberries, prepared in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut bread (brioche or challah preferred)
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and raspberries until well combined.
- Spread the mixture on two slices of bread and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Replace raspberries with blueberries or strawberries if preferred.
