Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (3-4 lbs)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme in a bowl.
- Rub the chicken with olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mix.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast-side down.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then flip and cook for another 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
