Description
A quick and easy air fryer recipe for salmon en croûte, featuring flaky salmon wrapped in crispy puff pastry.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix cream cheese, lemon zest, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into two rectangles.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on each pastry rectangle.
- Place salmon fillet on top and fold pastry over, sealing edges.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes until pastry is golden and salmon is cooked.
- Rest for 2 minutes before serving.
