Description
Crispy, golden sesame coconut balls made in the air fryer for a healthier twist. Perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Mix shredded coconut, sesame seeds, and sugar in a bowl.
- Add water gradually to the dry ingredients and knead into a dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly brush the balls with vegetable oil.
- Place the balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove when golden brown and let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Adjust sugar to taste if preferred.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before air frying.
