Description

Crispy and golden shrimp spring rolls made in the air fryer for a healthier twist on the classic deep-fried version. Perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • 1 tbsp water (for sealing)


Instructions

  1. Chop the shrimp into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix shrimp, cabbage, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Lay a spring roll wrapper flat, place 1 tbsp of filling near one corner, and fold the corner over the filling.
  4. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a mix of beaten egg and water.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray or brush the spring rolls with oil.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Use fresh wrappers for best results.
  • Do not overfill to prevent breaking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to regain crispiness.
