Description
Crispy and tender apple donut holes made in the air fryer with warm spices. A quick and easy treat perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup finely diced apple
- 1/4 cup melted butter (for coating)
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in a bowl.
- Add milk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until combined.
- Fold in diced apple.
- Scoop small portions of batter and roll into balls.
- Place donut holes in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Roll warm donut holes in melted butter, then coat with cinnamon sugar.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized donut holes.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
