Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup mixed dried fruit (raisins, currants, candied citrus peel)
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Fold in dried fruit and almonds.
  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and place in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
