Description
A delicious and easy dessert made with fresh strawberries and puff pastry, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Spoon the strawberry mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place the pastries in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren’t available.
- Adjust sugar to taste if strawberries are very sweet or tart.
- Serve warm for the best texture.
