A delicious and easy-to-make sweet potato cake using an air fryer. Perfect for a quick dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, melted butter, and egg.
- Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan that fits in the air fryer.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly mashed sweet potatoes for the best texture.
- Adjust sugar to taste if the sweet potatoes are very sweet.
- Check the cake at 20 minutes to avoid overcooking.
