Crispy and flavorful turkey meatballs made in the air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place meatballs in the basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce or as desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the meatballs with oil before cooking.
- Use a cookie scoop for even-sized meatballs.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
