Description

Crispy Italian donuts made in an air fryer for a lighter version of the classic treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Heat water and butter in a saucepan until butter melts.
  4. Add flour mixture to saucepan and stir until dough forms.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough into air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
