Description
Crispy Italian donuts made in an air fryer for a lighter version of the classic treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Heat water and butter in a saucepan until butter melts.
- Add flour mixture to saucepan and stir until dough forms.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Serve warm for best texture.
