Description
Crispy and delicious zucchini fries made in the air fryer for a healthier alternative to traditional fries.
Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchinis, cut into fry-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the zucchinis into fry-sized pieces and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each zucchini piece into the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated zucchini fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Lightly spray the fries with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Make sure to pat the zucchini dry before coating to prevent sogginess.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
