Description
Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, these air fryer ginger molasses cookies are a quick treat. They pack warm spices and deep molasses flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then coat in granulated sugar.
- Place balls in air fryer basket, spaced 1 inch apart. Cook for 6-8 minutes until edges are set.
- Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For softer cookies, reduce cooking time by 1 minute.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Dough can be refrigerated for up to 2 days before baking.
