Description
Crispy air fryer breaded chicken breast is a quick and healthy meal. It’s juicy inside and crunchy outside with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and water in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mix.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Check the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mix.
