Description
A simple and delicious dessert made with fresh peaches and a flaky crust, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced fresh peaches
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix peaches, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- Roll out the puff pastry and place it on parchment paper.
- Spoon the peach mixture onto the center of the pastry, leaving a 2-inch border.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the peaches.
- Brush the edges with egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Transfer the galette (with parchment) to the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best results.
- Adjust sugar based on peach sweetness.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
