A healthy air fryer lava cake that’s quick to make and delicious. Perfect for a guilt-free dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 square dark chocolate (85% cocoa or higher)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add the egg, almond milk, and melted coconut oil. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour half the batter into a greased ramekin.
  5. Place the dark chocolate square in the center.
  6. Cover with the remaining batter.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  8. Let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a toothpick to check doneness—edges should be firm, center slightly gooey.
  • For a vegan version, replace the egg with a flax egg.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more coconut sugar if needed.
