Description
Homemade air fryer bagels are quick, easy, and delicious. Perfect for breakfast or a snack, they have a crispy exterior and soft interior.
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour and salt, then knead into a smooth dough.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Divide dough into 6 equal parts. Shape into bagels.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush bagels with egg wash and add toppings if desired.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Check bagels halfway to prevent burning.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes.
