Description
Make crispy air fryer beef jerky at home with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean beef (top round or flank steak)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Slice beef into thin strips against the grain.
- Mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Add beef strips to marinade and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat air fryer to 180°F (82°C).
- Arrange beef strips in single layer in air fryer basket.
- Cook for 3 hours, flipping halfway through.
- Check for desired dryness and cook longer if needed.
- Let cool before storing.
Notes
- Cut beef when partially frozen for easier slicing.
- Pat beef dry before cooking for better texture.
- Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
