Make crispy air fryer fish sticks at home with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or haddock)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cut fish fillets into 1-inch strips.
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each fish strip in flour, then dip in eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
- Arrange fish sticks in a single layer in the basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use fresh fish for best results.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
