Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs


Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs for 7 minutes, then cool and peel them.
  2. Mix sausage with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  3. Divide sausage into 4 equal portions.
  4. Flatten each portion and wrap around a boiled egg.
  5. Roll each sausage-wrapped egg in flour.
  6. Dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Place Scotch eggs in the air fryer basket.
  9. Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
