Description

A delicious and easy-to-make tart with a sweet apple and almond frangipane filling, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp apricot jam (optional, for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and press it into a tart pan or a round baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, egg, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon to make the frangipane.
  4. Spread the frangipane evenly over the puff pastry.
  5. Arrange the apple slices on top in a circular pattern.
  6. Place the tart in the air fryer and cook for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. If desired, warm the apricot jam and brush it over the tart for a glossy finish.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
