Crispy air-fried apple fritters packed with protein for a healthier treat.
Ingredients
- 1 medium apple, diced
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, protein powder, cinnamon, and baking powder.
- Add egg, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of batter into the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use a firm apple like Granny Smith for best texture.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
