Description

Crispy and sweet banana fritters made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil spray for coating


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  2. Add milk and vanilla extract, then stir until smooth.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  4. Scoop small portions of batter and flatten them into discs.
  5. Place fritters in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Lightly spray with oil.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
  8. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness.
  • Adjust sugar based on banana ripeness.
